Steve's Week 13 Rankings

16 ranked teams - Steve Dugas - records through Week 12
Burger Buddies 11-1 Top 3 - 13 Weeks

Much like the "How much is each Franchise worth" exercise going on in the forum, I've always wanted to compare every team to an NFL Franchise. The Buddies are most comparable to the 49ers. They have periods of great success and occasionally go dormant. 49ers have appeared in 7 title games, Buddies have been in 6.

Chunky Chickens 11-1 Top 3 - 3 Weeks

The Chickens have to be the Patriots. They win the division every single year, have been in the most Super Bowls, and have had some of the most iconic players in YFFL history. The YFFL greatest dynasty is just like the NFL's.

Bear Poop 9-3 Top 3 - 2 Weeks

The Bear are just like the Raiders. Haven't been great in forever (but once were), do things their own way, and are an iconic franchise in league history.

Mexican Beans 8-4 Top 5 - 2 Weeks

The Beans are the Browns. Every time you think they've figure it out, everything crumbles. Neither has ever won a Super Bowl.

The Refugees are the Packers. Always hanging around and in the mix, even when you wish they weren't. They also win the big game most every time they make it.

The Thugs are like the Colts. They've won a couple titles. Their best days happened a while back (shout out to the 2010 World Champs!), and every once in a while they rise up and have a decent season.

The White Guys are the New York Giants. If they are in the Super Bowl they are winning it, even when up against overwhelming odds. I'm also pretty sure only the tri-state area likes them.

The Boys are the Seattle Seahawks. They've both won one title and are usually in the mix but neither can keep it together for a whole year. I've also heard Chris chomps on gum hard just like Pete Carroll.

The Dragons are one the the most decorated and proud teams in the YFFL which makes them a perfect match for the Steelers. Both are also great at developing players. Seems like every pick always works out.

The Huskers are the Saints. Just like the Drew Brees Saints, the Huskers have only won one title despite years of entering the season as one of the favorites.

The Llamas are like the formerly expansion Jaguars. Sure they both have had that one good year but neither has come close to replicating it, nor does it look like either will soon.

The Brothers are the Chargers. They can put together a great team every now and then but something always goes wrong. Untimely injuries for both teams, Brothers are also famous for always being high scoring but somehow not making the playoffs.

The 'Tangs are the Cowboys. Right now they are going thru their Quincy Carter stage. They've also built their team around Romo and Prescott for years. Both also have a handful of Super Bowl appearances along with some wins.

The Eaters are the Broncos. Both dominated the 90's and grabbed a title in the 2010's.

The Mallards are the Falcons. They've both had some really bad years and some really great years. Both always come up short in the big game.

The Merry Men are the Eagles. Both are consistent winners, always in the mix, never afraid to make a big move, and both have a couple titles.
