The NFC West made a statement in Week 9, going a perfect 4-0 and racking up a combined 260 points against their NFC East foes.

Leading the charge were the Huskers, who erupted for 79 points against the Mallards - the sixth time this season the Mallards have surrendered 50 or more. After back-to-back losses, the Huskers' ground attack roared back to life, powered by four touchdowns from the trio of Josh Jacobs, Ashton Jeanty, and Rico Dowdle, keeping them squarely in the hunt for the division crown.

Still sitting atop the division are the Brothers, who dismantled the Boys 72-28 behind a three-touchdown explosion from Drake London and another steady 18-point effort from Christian McCaffrey. The 2-time defending NFC champs remain a highly explosive team on any given week.

The Chickens continue to hang around as well thanks to QB Joe Flacco, who turned back the clock to deliver a career-high 31 points in his 18th YFFL season. It's the third straight victory for the Chickens, who refuse to go quietly into the night.

Elsewhere around the league, the Orangutangs climbed into first place in the AFC East with a win over the Thugs, Bear Poop stunned the division-leading Buddies, and the Merry Men halted their skid with a crucial victory to tighten the AFC West race. Meanwhile, Josh Allen has the Refugees trending upward again with back-to-back wins after a brutal five-game losing streak that nearly buried their playoff hopes.
