POWER RANKINGS - WEEK 1, 2022
Week
Year

1

Dragons 5-9

The Dragons enter the season with one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the league. Matt Ryan is in a much better situation and if he tails off Trevor Lawrence should be ready to take the reins and keep things rolling.

2

Buddies 12-2

The Buddies trot out the hands down best starting lineup in the YFFL, but a real lack of depth could get them into trouble if injuries become a problem. Will be interesting to see if they can get back to the top of the AFC or if last year's down year was a sign that one of the most dominant squads the league has ever seen has been passed by.

3

Refugees 9-5

We say it every year, and we'll say it again.....can't wait to see how these guys get to 7 wins and win another title. This squad is loaded and they should finally break the four year streak of winning 7 regular season games.

4

Merry Men 3-11

The Merry Men are back in the hunt for title #3 in 2022. Stafford is having trouble with a sore elbow and if it's a problem Trey Lance is ready to step in and lead the deepest team in the AFC.

5

Mallards 4-10

The Mallards were able to overcome injury after injury last season to their RBs and get to 8 wins, just missing the playoffs. With better RB health, a stable of stud WRs, and the heir to the YFFL throne in Justin Herbert, the Mallards are ready to make some serious noise.

6

Boys 6-8

Kyler Murray, JT, and Jaylen Waddle is as good as any triplets in the league. Big Boys will look to win the toughest division in the YFFL again.

7

Chickens 13-1

The cracks are starting to show in the foundation, but Nick should be able to patch it just enough to grab one more division title before an aging roster has their window close.

8

Poop 11-3

The Bear are trotting out one of their best lineups in years. Will it be enough to finally get Brady the one ring he's never been able to win??

9

White Guys 8-6

The White Guys are either going to be really good or really bad. I think Lamar Jackson has a great season and the White Guys end up being really good. NFC East starts the year with four teams in the top nine.

10

Thugs 11-3

It's probably insane to put the Thugs above the 'Tangs and Huskers........but I really like this team. Cook and Jefferson are top 3 players at their positions and Winston is ready to come back and do what he does best, throw picks and TDs.

11

Orangutangs 3-11

'Tangs have some high end talent and some really low end talent. I think Jon will figure things out and he's not afraid to shake things up if he needs to. They'll be competitive but it probably won't be enough to hang with the Bear and Refugees.

12

Huskers 5-9

Kevin will be shocked to find Gabriel Davis and the Huskers this low. At least I still have them finishing second in their division. Expect Aaron Jones and Deandre Hopkins to be on the block by midseason.

13

Beans 9-5

Over here at yfflinsider.com we are still trying to figure out why the Beans went WR at #6 in the draft instead of getting the much needed RB. Beans are putting things together, just gonna be one more year.

14

Eaters 5-9

When you have 16 rosters spots and 10 play WR, you probably should look in a mirror and ask yourself if you have a problem.

15

Brothers 3-11

Personally I think the Brothers hit their draft out of the park. Alec Pierce was one of my favorite players in the draft. I think if Goff can convince Bri to let him start the Brothers could be a problem.

16

Llamas 5-9

This team isn't lucking into six wins again I'll tell you that much.....
