POWER RANKINGS - WEEK 1, 2021
Week
Year

1

Huskers 9-5

The Huskers enter 2021 the runaway favorite to bring home their first title in 20 seasons. They have the talent to do it, will Pete Carroll neuter Russ or let him cook??

2

Buddies 7-7

The Buddies have piled up a staggering amount of wins the last three years en route to three straight Super Bowl appearances. Would not be surprised to see them make it four in a row.

3

Chickens 8-5-1

This may be a bit too high for the Chickens, but they belong in a top spot until they prove they don't belong there. The RBs are pretty thin at this stage in the game till some waiver wire reinforcements arrive. Rodgers to Adams for a whole season is going to be devestating.

4

Boys 10-4

I really like this Big Boys team. Murray, Chubb, and Taylor are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

5

Orangutangs 6-8

Dak is back and so are the 2020 Division winning 'Tangs. Jon has very quietly built one of the most complete teams in the YFFL.

6

Merry Men 11-3

The Merry Men enter 2021 with one of their best teams in the last 5-10 years. They have solid players at every spot and a quality back up behind them. The question is, are any of them stars?? Stafford is ready to go scorched earth and return them to the playoffs for the first time in six years.

7

Thugs 3-11

Three teams from the AFC West in the top seven?? It's going to be a hard fought battle for the division that's for sure. Jameis Winston has the Thugs back in the YFFL media and they are getting a lot of buzz about having a wild card team.

8

Refugees 7-7

Quarterback. Check! Wide Receivers. Check! Tight End. Check! Running Backs??? Still needs to find one who is going to put up points.

9

White Guys 8-6

The defending Champs enter the season in a familiar place.....getting no respect. If they can stay afloat till Mike Thomas returns they might be able to sneak by everyone and grab yet another trophy.

10

Mallards 8-6

The Mallards have question marks all over their roster about whether any of the players are as good as they were down the stretch last year. I have a feeling last season saw most of them hit their ceilings.. The JK Dobbins injury was devestating.

11

Eaters 5-9

We are probably too low on the Eaters here at YFFL.com, but its always more fun to climb the rankings than to fall down them. If Carr plays well then look out, the rest of the team is solid.

12

Poop 9-5

Well Bri answered the question we've been talking about all summer, he's going to go all in and make another push while he has Tom Brady. Many thought he should be grabbing one of the top QBs at #2 instead of going with Harris. This team is sneaky solid.

13

Brothers 2-12

I know we haven't seen anybody in action yet but you could really make a case for every team in the league to win their division. The league doesn't really have any terrible teams to start out. Brothers are another team where if a couple things actually go their way they could make a lot of noise.

14

Dragons 6-7-1

The Cam Akers injury is still stinging, if he was on this team this year I'd move them up about 8 more spots. I also think had he been healthy Jon would have been more likely to pull the trigger on Kyle Pitts at #1 like was kicked around.

15

Beans 6-8

Another team that is just a RB away from being a handful week in and week out. Lot of guys on this team that always seem to be banged up. Beans best keep Rotoworld up on the split screen.

16

Llamas 6-8

Justin Fields, Saquan Barkley, and DK Metcalf make up one the most promising trios in the YFFL. Can't wait to see Fields in action every week. I think he is a star.
