POWER RANKINGS - WEEK 1, 2019
Week
Year

1

Buddies 11-2

Mike has done it again. He's built another team that is young and loaded top to bottom. The addition of Tyreek Hill to pair with Mahomes has everyone else playing for second.

2

Llamas 5-8

Watson is maybe one of two players that can challenge Mahomes for the league scoring title this year. Only hole on this team is the lack of a bonafide star WR. If they can scrounge one up they will be able to at least make the Buddies sweat out getting the BYE till week 10.

3

Mallards 9-3-1

This team is historically better in odd numbered years and 2019 should be no different. Mallards made a great move to fill the hole left after the Hill giveaway. They are one of the deepest teams in the league and still have an extra QB to trade should any problem areas arise.

4

Chickens 8-5

Chickens still have what is probably hands down the best starting lineup in the league. Will be interesting to see if they are able to survive when BYEs and if injuries hit.

5

Huskers 6-7

Will Annie let Kevin back into the bedroom before week 1? That's the question everyone wants answered after Kevin drafted Damien Williams, got cocky and unloaded Mack for Jones, only to see McCoy land in KC. Annie is PISSED!!

6

Brothers 6-7

Brothers are very much like the Chickens in that they have a great starting lineup. After that it falls off a bit, but it is a great starting lineup. Could have multiple skill guys break 100.

7

White Guys 7-5-1

Case Keenum and the Defending Champs have been taking a lot of heat in the YFFL Media this offseason and their bulletin board is getting full. Landing at #7 in the initial power rankings is the final chip put on their shoulder heading into the 2019 season.

8

Dragons 4-9

Big season for Aaron Rodgers this year. He has really struggled with injuries of late and hasn't been the force we'd grown accustomed to. Could the Dragons be ready to trade him and move forward with Matt Ryan?? I bet he could be had for the right price.

9

Boys 4-9

Chris has assembled a young and exciting nucleus of players and no longer has to listen to everyone hammer him on Andy Dalton and Eli Manning. Should be a much more fun team to root for every week.

10

Orangutangs 6-7

While the 'Tangs land down here at #10 I think they will have a much better season. Outside of Kamara and Kittles their isn't a lot of flash on the team but they have a lot of guys who will get the job done. I think they find a way to win the division.

11

Poop 7-6

I have no idea what to make of this team. They only start players from three different franchises. They really should be turning the team over to Cam Newton.

12

Merry Men 7-6

They continue to go through year after year with no star players on the team. Ray Rice was probably the last guy to be a top 10 dynasty asset on the team (Melvin Gordon doesn't count). This team will be competitive week in a week out, though probably won't have many wins to show for it.

13

Eaters 4-9

Every time I look at this roster I feel a different way about them. Some days I can talk myself into 7 wins, other days its 3. My Guess is they finish with the last spot in the playoffs for the #1 pick and end up winning it.

14

Beans 4-9

Getting Marlon Mack is a start towards fixing that terrible group of RBs, but they still have a ways to go.

15

Refugees 7-6

I'm positive Gronk is back and starting for the Refugees by week 10.

16

Thugs 8-5

What a stomach punch Andrew Luck's retirement was to this franchise.
