Llamas (-5) vs. Chickens
The difference in this game very well may be the bye week for Ezekiel Elliot. That said I wouldn’t count Nick out as the matchups for McCoy and Bortles are very favorable. Big games from both could help him eke out a win. That said I’m taking the Llamas in this one. Top to Bottom they have a stronger squad and if everyone plays to their potential Gibbs should remain undefeated and cover the 5 points. I think Derek Carr has a big week with at least 1 of 3 TDs going to Amari Cooper. I also like Matt Jones to find the end zone this week and Demarco may find it twice. Imagine if Gibbs could add another WR to this roster?. The Brothers have a stock pile of aging receivers and need to consider rebuilding at this point.

30-69
Thugs vs. Dragons (-14)
Somehow this Thugs team has remained competitive trotting out hot garbage. With wins over the Eaters, Merry Men and the Tangs this team has had some big victories this year. They also barely lost to the Llamas. The Thugs remain competitive despite a lack of any real talent outside of Luck and an injured Sammy Watkins. The Dragons have significantly more scoring threats and this week Aaron Rodgers puts up a big stat line on the Bears as I wouldn’t anticipate Kniles Davis receiving a lot of carries. Dragons win going away and cover the 14 points and position themselves as the main opposition to the Chicken’s resurgence.

54-35
Eaters vs. Huskers (Pick 'Em)
Should be a tight matchup this week. I expect Kevin will get solid days out of Wilson, Johnson, Cobb and Lambo. I think he’s pretty thin after that but those guys could carry him to a victory. Pryor has been a great pick for Kev this year but he’s dealing with a ham string injury so it will be interesting to see if he gets similar production this week. How much are you missing Latavius Murray and Josh Doctson right now? I like my matchups for the most part this week outside of Antonio Brown who may put up another 0 with big ben out of the lineup. That said I think I get a big week from Ingram and pull out a narrow victory over the Huskers.

W

22-49
Buddies vs. Mallards (-10)
Although this Buddies team buried the Refugees last week, if I’m mike I’m turning my aging players into assets and going into full rebuild mode. The draft is a crap shoot but having more rolls could facilitate a faster rebuild. Too many needs on this team to hold on to players that won’t be productive or in the league by the time they’re relevant again. Target date 2018 on the Buddies being a playoff contender again at the earliest. Steve needs a Kicker and some better luck. The way he’s going we may need to take turns checking in on him to make sure he’s not sulking around the house unshaven with gravy stained sweat suits and in desperate need of a shower.

L

39-23
Merry Men vs. Beans (-5)
I’m not sure what to make of this Merry Men team. They seem talented on paper but Steve can’t pick the right QB nor get consistent performances from his star players. Maybe with Ben out Steve has better luck riding with Stafford each week until Ben is back. I think Bobby and the Beans take care of Steve this week with big performances from Mariota or Cousins, both have good matchups and Julio Jones will have a monster game against San Diego. The rest of his guys chip in and Bobby wins and covers the 5 points and Steve is asked to stop badgering the waitresses at Pats Pizza with his sad fantasy football tales.

W

43-16
Refugees vs. Brothers (-3)
That battle of the 1-5’s. I think Bri suffers at RB this week with Charles as the only “viable” option which will keep the game closer than it should be. Bri gets a slight edge at WR and QB resulting in him giving up the 3 points. I think the Refugees ultimately pull this one out though with a big game from Gronk, Benjamin and a surprise 3 TD performance from Fitzpatrick. Regardless of who wins, neither team is going anywhere except to the Stupor Bowl. Bri and Aceto can be heard repeating the phrase “We’re on to 2017” for the rest of this season. I would recommend Aceto try and unload Kelce and Bri should move on from Marshall and Nelson.

W

18-60
Orangutangs vs. Boys (-14)
Chris hasn’t picked his QB yet, but personally I’d go with Dalton at home against the Browns – the over under is 45.5 vs 43.5 in the Giants vs Rams game and Cincy is a 10 point favorite whereas the Giants are only favored by 3, i.e. Vegas is expecting a big week from Dalton. Coupled with big performances from Miller, AJ Green and Cooks and Chris could put up 60+ this week. The Tangs have Darkwa, Forsett and a severely concussed Jordan Reed in his lineup. Between injuries and bye weeks I’m guessing Jon is looking at his roster this week and not feeling good about himself. Boys should handily beat the Tangs and move back into playoff contention.

W

45-40
Poop (-10) vs. White Guys
Poop win but don’t cover. This White Guys team is very pedestrian but good enough to pull out some wins. I think Gurley suffered from the Rams drafting Goff over Wentz but if Keenum can keep playing decently Gurley could start to get going down the stretch. I also like the upside on Michael Thomas in that NO offense. Fitzgerald can still play but he’s not going to be around to be a part of this team being a contender. If I’m Aceto, after this loss I move Fitzy for a first rounder next year. The Poop are 4-2 and will need a wild card birth to get into the playoffs. With Tom Brady back and the Merry Men reeling, he likely will accomplish this. Bri should look to add depth though. His RB’s are trash and with Edelman not looking like himself he’s going to need to add another piece to be a threat once he gets in the playoffs.
