Patrick Mahomes continued his brilliant season with his third straight(!) 28 point game as the Buddies racked up 81 points en route to a victory over the Refugees.

While Mahomes has almost single handedly kept the Buddies afloat this year, it was a team effort this week as five other players scored touchdowns to deliver the fourth highest single game total in team history. The win pulls the Buddies to 4-4 and just a half game out of the division lead as the Eaters were dispatched by Bear Poop.

After 8 weeks, the AFC incredibly now just has one team with a losing record and just 2 games separate 7 different teams in the playoff hunt with 5 games to play.

Elsewhere around the league, the White Guys outlasted the Brothers to remain undefeated in a 71-65 slugfest, the Boys upset the Chickens to capture their second win of the season, and the Beans downed the Dragons in a key matchup that saw them take a 1 game lead for the NFC Wild Card.
