With three scores from A.J. Green on Thursday night, the Big Boys got off to a rousing start, but Todd Gurley and the defending champion High 5'n White Guys were up to the challenge in a week full of fireworks for the NFC East.

The White Guys charged back to win thanks to three touchdowns of their own from Gurley and a pair of scores from Michael Thomas to amass 68 points despite zero points from QB Alex Smith.

The champs move to 2-0 and a share of the lead in the NFC East with the Mallards, who outlasted the Dragons 57-54 in a game that seesawed back and forth all weekend and saw nearly every player in both lineups score a TD. However, a late score from Evan Engram on Sunday night sealed the deal and kept the Mallards undefeated.

It's just the beginning of what should be a year-long slug fest in the NFC East. The four teams combined to score 235 points in Week 2.

Elsewhere around the league, it was a coming out party for Patrick Mahomes, who tossed six touchdowns(!!) in his first start to lead the Buddies over the Eaters almost single-handedly, the Chickens remained undefeated with a slim 2 point win over the Brothers, and the Thugs' bad luck continued as they got hammered by the Merry Men 69-37 just one week after the Eaters dropped 71 points on them.
