Most Valuable Player
After 10 consecutive seasons of quarterbacks, Todd Gurley is the first RB to win a MVP since LaDainian Tomlinson's historic season in 2006. Gurley edged Carson Wentz (despite receiving fewer first place votes) with a breakout season that saw him score 116 points on 11 touchdowns through the ground and air. Gurley's effort helped the White Guys to a 7-0 start that culminated with a AFC Wild Card berth after finishing 4-8-1 a season ago.

Rookie of the Year
It was a season of jaw-dropping points and what-could-have-been for Deshaun Watson. Watson started slow, but improved every week of the season before ripping off 113 points in a 4 week span (including three 30+ point games). A season ending injury cost him the final five weeks of the season and possibly a MVP award and playoff berth for the Buddies. However, Watson is this year's Rookie of the Year and the only player to be nominated (and receive votes!) in all four award categories.

Macor Misa
With Andrew Luck on the shelf for the season, the Thugs were scrambling to find a servicable QB most weeks. Who knew that a journeyman with six career points would end up becoming one of the most dependable QBs down the stretch? Case Keenum tallied 76 points during his final five games of the season (including a 28 point Player of the Week performance) as the Thugs won three of those games to become one of the YFFL's most dangerous spoilers.

Owner of the Year
With just seven wins in total all of last season, not much was expected from Anthony Aceto's White Guys and Refugees heading into 2017. However, Aceto's two teams started out strong and just. keep. winning. thanks to some breakthrough performances from their stars and plenty of unlikely contributions from others. It all added up to a pair of perfect 7-0 starts, a division title, a Wild Card berth, a MVP, and possibly a Super Bowl championship.
