Most Valuable Player

After two seasons of good, but not great numbers, there were some doubts about whether Andrew Luck would live up his billing of "the next great quarterback". Luck put those questions to rest with a breakout season that saw him score 257 points (5th most all-time in a single season) and lead the Thugs from Stupor Bowl winners to Super Bowl contenders. The future looks bright.

Rookie of the Year

With so many outstanding rookie performances this season, it's only fitting that two players share the award. Kelvin Benjamin was one of the most polished wide receivers coming out of the draft and it showed: he scored 3 TDs in his first 4 games and went on to score 68 points (besting the rookie seasons of A.J. Green, Dez Bryant and Calvin Johnson to name a few). However, the best story of the 2014 rookie class may have been kicker Cody Parkey, who becomes the first kicker to win any sort of regular season award thanks to a Pro Bowl season that saw him top 10+ points six times, including a tally of 34 points in the final two games to lead the Eaters to a Wild Card berth.

Macor Misa

You can't avoid talking about the 2014 football season without addressing the Ray Rice incident, which was a massive black eye to the NFL and had wide reaching moral and practical ramifications even within the fantasy football hobby. While it's tough to find any sort of bright spot to the situation, it did create an opportunity for journeyman runningback and consummate fantasy hand-cuff Justin Forsett to get a real opportunity for the first time in his career. Behind a massive Ravens offensive line, Forsett became an unlikely RB1 enroute to 68 points that helped the Orangutangs win the AFC East and contend for a Super Bowl title.

Owner of the Year

An owner that is usually at least somewhere in the mix every year, Jon Kinsman put it altogether in 2014 to a tune of 20 combined wins, including a 12-1 season for the Snapdragons that tied the record for most wins in a single season. Kinsman's teams were bolsterd by key free agent pick-ups (Forsett), late round draft picks (Tre Mason) and the usual contributors (Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, Matt Forte and Dez Bryant) that helped off-set down years for the likes of Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Vernon Davis. The win is Kinsman's 2nd Owner of the Year and first since 1999, the same year that the Orangutangs franchise last won it all.
