Draft Follies

Now that all of the talk of Chris drafting Winslow too high has died down, I thought I would do some digging through the draft archives for the two most laughable events:

1st, since we are on TE's, Jon drafting Greg Clark 5th overall in 1999.

2nd - The White Guys entire 1998 Draft:
1) Fred Lane - he died (the following year).
2) Quinn Early - zero starts, zero points.
3) Jeff Graham - one start, zero points.
4) Steve Christie - who cares.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell I was thinking with Greg Clark. I must have built him up in my head as the next Brent Jones...and who wouldn't with those stellar stats in 1998? I mean, he had 31 yards one game!

Then he went on to start 1 game for me afterwards. It might be my worst draft pick ever if I hadn't taken Michael Westbrook and Troy Davis both as #1 overall. I have no idea how I won 2 Super Bowls with that team...
