Was looking on YFFL Classic, but was unable to locate for sure...
1) Is this the first year a champ has gone from Super Bowl champ to the Stuperbowl?
2) Is this the first year an owner has played against himself in the Stuperbowl?
In '04 the Bear and Brothers squared off. Not sure if it has happened other than that.
I put together a list: http://www.yffl.com/classic/stupor.php
It IS the first time a defending champion has played in the Stupor Bowl.
Along with the others mentioned, the Buddies (and Cade McNown!) squared off against the Chickens in 1999.
The Beans and Brothers played in back-to-back Stupor Bowls in 2001 and 2002.
The most amazing factoid?
Anthony and the Refugees went from Stupor Bowl loser to Super Bowl champion in 2005-2006...and then did it with the White Guys in 2006-2007!
Ah..very nice. thank you
Alright, Alright. Thanks for rubbing it in guys. Yes, my teams were terrible this year.
On another note, what team should I draft Andrew Luck with? It's going to be hard to pass up the opportunity to torment the Merry Men for the next 15 years by bringing Luck to the AFC West...
RGIII to the Beans?
Bob, After today's result I'm finally convinced this is a qb driven league...choose wisely.
The merry men should never win a game with that lineup ex Stafford.
Congrats steve, best of luck next week.
Wow, Steve steamrolled the Chickens and Refs. Congrats Steve.
Yes, scratch my comment above...don't need any luck next week.
