Week 8 - Nick's Picks

Last Week: 4-3-1
Year-to-Date: 36-18-2 .661

1. Llamas vs. Buddies
Pick: LLAMAS
Comment: The Llamas are on a warpath right now. The Buddies best RB looks like he is related to Lawrence Phillips, that's not good.

2. Boys vs. Chickens
Pick: CHICKENS
Comment: Will Boldin play this weekend? The Chickens certainly hope so as they desperately need a win to avoid this freight train of a squad from completely falling off the tracks.

3. Merry Men vs. Tangs
Pick: TANGS
Comment: When the team's owner thinks that his squad could get shut out this week with no #1 kicker and no real QB, that's scary. Tangs continue to look like a playoff contender.

4. Thugs vs. Poop
Pick: THUGS
Comment: The Thugs run of good fortune continues, they land the rejuvenated Poop team who will be missing their best WR. The Poop can't afford to be playing without anyone at this point.

5. Mallards vs. Brothers
Pick: MALLARDS
Comment: Even with a banged up Steven Jackson, this team rolls to .500, but can they keep this up after week 8?

6. Eaters vs. Refugees
Pick: REFUGEES
Comment: C.Johnson, Jones-Drew, and Slaton is a tough combo to beat at this point in the season. The Refugees are staying under the radar and are primed for a playoff run.

UPSET ALERT
Dragons vs. Beans
Pick: BEANS
Comment: Even without their star quarterback, this battle of Wide Receivers goes by way of the Bean.

Game of the Week:
White Guys vs. Huskers
Pick: HUSKERS
Comment: The Huskers look to continue their magical run, but are forced to start two TEs this week. Fortunately for them, they run into a team in the same situation, Jacobs and Manning carry them past the White Guys.
