DUGAS CRITICIZED FOR NOT ACQUIRING A QB
YFFL Owners were furious earlier this week when Steve Dugas announced he would not sign Jake Delhomme off the waiver wire to replace his benched Rodney Peete. The Mallards do not have a starting QB nor will they anytime in the forseeable future which has got some of the owners talking about a possible suspension for the league's most evil owner.

KEV SANSONE VYING FOR BACK-TO-BACK OWNER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Although YFFL superlative voting won't begin for another 4 months, there is already talks around the league the Kev Sansone is the front-runner to win Owner of the Year Award again this year. The Huskers haven't lost in over a year and the Llamas are quickly moving up in the AFC East standings.

SLOAN HEADS TO COMMENTATING BOOTH
8-year YFFL veteran David Sloan recently was hired by FOX to do color commentary for YFFL games this season. He will be paired with Ron Pitts as the inexperienced duo will work mostly "Mallards-Brothers" calliber games, a FOX top executive said.

THUGS WON'T SIGN SHOOTING VICTIM JOEY PORTER
The Thugs, notorious for having a roster full of convicts, won't sign Steelers LB Joey Porter who was shot in the buttocks last week. Owner Bobby Sansone reiterated Tuesday that he is "primarily interested in signing the person who fired the gun."

MATCHING ALSTOTT JERSEYS NOT ON WEDDING REGISTRY
Despite numerous reports circulating last week that the Kinsman's were seeking "His & Her" Mike Alstott jerseys to wear this football season, a spokesperson from the bride's family said "these rumors were absolutely ludicrous. My daughter and her fiance are asking for Peyton Manning and Mike Vanderjagt jerseys respectively."

CURSE OF KEITH BYARS TO BE FEATURED ON UNSOLVED MYSTERIES
When the unprecedented 14th season of Unsolved Mysteries premeires next week on the Lifetime Channel, one of the mysteries to be looked at will be the Curse of Kieth Byars which is already making its presence felt in 2003. Michael Vick and Kurt Warner have both already suffered injuries and the Buddies will have to hit the waiver wire this week for a starting QB. The piece on the Buddies will air in the second half-hour of the show as the first half-hour of the show will look back at the life and times of host Robert Stack who died last June.
